This role is based in Taman Teknologi Nusajaya, Johor.

Core Responsibilities:

·      Establish and maintain the Quality Management System.

·      Comply with AS9100, NADCAP, and customer requirements.

·      Point of contact for all customer Quality issues arising.

·      Drive initiatives to improve the site Quality performance (Escape, COPQ, Rework, Scrap, Right First Time etc.).

·      Deploy Quality improvement tools & techniques (RRCA, PFMEA, Gauge R&R, SPC, Control Plans etc.).

·      Ensure all outsourced work meets internal Quality requirements.

·      Establish a robust Quality internal audit system to sustain Quality compliance.

·      Drive initiatives to build a Zero Defects culture.

·      Manage pre-production validation package for customer approval including First Article Inspection (FAI) or Production Part Approval Process (PPAP).

·      Lead, coach, and develop a team of Quality Engineers.

Qualifications:

·        5 years of Quality experience in a manufacturing environment, preferably in aerospace/metal machining/precision engineering industry, with 3 years effectively leading and managing a team.

·        Proficient in grinding, milling, turning, brazing, stamping, EDM, welding, NDT and heat treatment.

·        Six Sigma Green Belt certified.

·        Proficient in Quality tools & techniques.

·        Work transfer and New Product Introduction experience.

·        Self-starter and possess Continuous Improvement mindset.

·        Some travels are expected, mostly Singapore.
