Acts as an internal resource person to management and employees on a broad spectrum of human resource related functions including PAYROLL, recruitment, compensation and benefits, policies, talent management, manpower costing & planning, etc.
Plans and follows through on the international transfers of employees. Ensures that all relocation matters are effectively looked into.
Manages and follows through on expatriate relocation matters.
Maintains database on all secondee and expatriate affairs and ensures that benefits are tracked and kept up to date
Carries out manpower planning and deployment of employees. Track their utilization and makes recommendation to achieve optimum utilization of resources.
Computes manpower costing and ensures that they are maintained up to date.
Must have payroll knowledge.
Foreign worker management and matters pertaining to foreign worker
Prepares management reports as required within deadlines set.
Partners effectively with management staff to resolve workplace and employee issues and renders full support to ensure customer satisfaction.
Effectively looks after the welfare and other needs of employees to ensure employee satisfaction.
Organize employee programs and activities to promote esprit-de-corps and employee morale in the Company.
Follows through on the succession planning, career development and talent development program of the Company and ensures that employees receive training and development activities as planned.
Ensures that required documents are effectively maintained for ISO and other audits.
Ensures that employee appraisals are put up during the required intervals and reviews the appraisals to ensure consistency and to identify training and other needs.
Conducts and follows through on employee satisfaction surveys.
Follows through on all employee paperwork and ensure that they are correctly prepared, signed and documented.
Handles employee grievances and disciplinary problems effectively.
Ensures the timely filling of vacancies through recruitment, transfers, etc.
Conducts new hire orientation and management induction training. Reviews orientation training materials from time to time to make improvements and to keep it current.
Conducts exit interviews of resignees and takes follow up action as appropriate.
Mentors junior Human Resource staff in their job duties.
Handles HR projects and ensures the proper execution or management of such projects.
Ad hoc duties as assigned by Line Manager and the Management
To complete new hire account creation in system (including laptop purchase) and ensure all the details are updated in timely manner.
Monthly SAP and Headcount report for Finance
To create AD Account for all employee and In House Contractors
To liaise with technical teams on any system issues or updates
To prepare staff letters and obtain management approval
To liaise with project team/project director/project manager on staff development/issues & etc
To liaise with company insurance brokers on staff insurance enrollment & ensure movement listing is updated on time including adhoc changes.
Any other duties as assigned by the Line Manager and the Management.
Complying with the Company’s safety rules and regulations, ensuring a safe workplace for everyone.
