We are currently seeking an experienced Operations Executive and Manager to join our dynamic team. The role holder will be responsible for overseeing project management, overall maintenance, day-to-day operations, and executing various management and planning tasks. While a background in engineering is required, the focus of this position will be on operational management and strategic planning rather than direct engineering work. Background in Agritech is an added advantage.

Job Responsibilities 

Management and Planning:

  • Continuously monitor and evaluate operational procedures to identify areas for improvement in operational procedures and implement necessary changes to increase productivity and reduce costs 
  • Develop and implement strategies to enhance efficiency, productivity, and overall farms performance
  • Manage and maintain operations financial planning, monitoring, and record keeping for farms consumables
  • Ensure compliance with relevant regulations and internal policies, making necessary adjustments as required
  • Foster a positive work environment that promotes collaboration, innovation, and continual improvement.
  • Provide leadership, guidance, and ongoing training to ensure the team’s professional growth and development
  • Serve as primary contact point for farms operation team and coordinate with cross-functional teams to address operational challenges and resolve pending items / issues

Project Management:

  • Develop and implement comprehensive project plans and ensuring all tasks are efficiently executed
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including engineering, finance, and sales, to ensure smooth project execution.
  • Monitor progress, budgets, and timelines to ensure projects are completed within specified parameters.
  • Identify and proactively mitigate any risks or obstacles in project implementation.

Overall Maintenance:

  • Develop and implement maintenance plans for company facilities, equipment, and infrastructure.
  • Coordinate with relevant stakeholders to ensure regular inspections, repairs, and upgrades are scheduled and executed efficiently.
  • Monitor facility conditions and take appropriate actions to address any maintenance and repair needs promptly.

Day-to-Day Operations:

  • Oversee daily operations and ensure all processes are running smoothly and efficiently
  • Develop, implement and enforce standardized processes and best practices across farms operation
  • Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) related to operational efficiency and take actions to improve metrics.
  • Establish and maintain quality control measures to ensure adherence to product standards and specifications
  • Monitor and analyse each farm’s Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) to identify issues and trend and implement corrective actions if such KPIs are not met
  • Identify opportunities for waste minimization and cost reduction while maintaining quality standards
  • Conducts all operation activities in accordance with Company policies and standard operating procedures (SOPs)

Background Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree or higher in Engineering or Agribusiness or any related field.
  • Proven experience in operational management and strategic planning.
  • Strong project management skills, with the ability to effectively prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills, including the ability to collaborate and motivate cross-functional teams.
  • Proficient in the use of software tools for project management, operational analysis, and data reporting.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Detail-oriented with a focus on accuracy and quality.
  • Attention to detail and results-oriented individual with a passion for agriculture, process optimization, and team leadership
  • Ability to lead and motivate a diverse team and fostering a positive work environment
