  • Booking shipment with carier
  • Follow up and update shipment arrival in system
  • Receive shipment arrival notice
  • Request cargo release information, documents and freight invoice
  • Perform required interaction incl. document transfer with Import Customs Clearance Team or external customs broker
  • Receive Original HBL from Consignee and confirm receipt in systemC
  • Check actual shipment arrival date with Carrier and confirm in system
  • Check shipment delivery status and confirm in system
  • Check empty container return to CY (Container Yard) and confirm in system
  • Ensure that Original MBL is surrendered to Carrier at origin or destination
  • Create exceptional and accessorial income reserves and cost accruals in system
  • Check container arrival at CY (Container Yard) and confirm in system
  • Perform required interaction with CY (Container Yard) and port authorities
  • Provide delivery information to Hinterland Transportation Team (if merchant’s haulage) and/or to Carrier and/or to 3rd party NVO (if Carrier’s haulage)
  • Manage and resolve invoicing disputes with vendors
  • Request update from/with MDM Team (Master Data Management)
  • Receive and/or upload relevant Vendor documents to digital archive (ODM)
  • Send ‘Shipping Advice’ and ‘Arrival Notice’ to Consignee (Sender shown as “Customer Management”)
  • Timely and accurate completion of activities in system
  • Ensure compliance with Customer specific KPI’s
  • Provide self-pickup instructions to Consignee
  • Send delivery details to Consignee
  • Provide shipment details (manifest) to customs authorities
  • Provide “Change Advice” to Consignee
  • Continuously monitor container pickup status at CY (Container Yard)
  • Continuously provide demurrage & detention details to Import Customer Management Team
  • Confirm self-pickup details in system
  •  Send correct manifest to Co-loader 
  • Process check or cash payment requests
