JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
Solicit potential customers; develop and maintain all assigned existing accounts
Attend customers’ enquiries promptly; prepare quotations to customers; negotiate terms with customers
Follow up on enquiries from customers and sales leads from agents
Attend customers requirements and provide professional transportation suggestions
Attend booking requests from customers, and provide confirmations on timely manner
Perform sales calls to to understand the real-time market and close deals with customers
Identify and resolve operational issues with shipments
Develop and maintain good business relationship with customers
REQUIREMENTS
At least a Degree of any discipline from a recognised institution
At least 4 Years of working experience in Freight Forwarding industry is required for this position (Fresh graduates are welcomed to apply for junior level positions)
Proficiency in English and Bahasa Malaysia both in writing and oral communication
Mandarin speaking is optional but an added advantage due to majority Mandarin speaking customers
Proficiency in MS Office (i.e. MS Word, MS Excel and MS Outlook)
Applicants must be willing to work in Penang Island
Malaysian citizens
Working experience in relevant field will be considered if without academy qualification
