FP Markets is a well-established global CFD broker offering traders access to CFDs across Forex, Indices, Commodities, Stocks and Cryptocurrencies and we are currently looking to recruit a full-time Senior Developer Mandarin Speaker to join their growing team in our Offices in Malaysia

Job Description:

The ideal candidate will possess strong backend development in Laravel & frontend development in React JS with experience in working with a large volume of databases.

Responsibilities:

• Designing new frameworks, debugging and modifying existing frameworks
• Collaborating with the front-end developers and other team members to establish objectives and design more functional, cohesive codes to enhance the user experience
• Ensure high performance and responsiveness to web applications and ensure high security of the application
• Participate in the entire application lifecycle, focusing on coding and debugging
• Deploy projects into cloud servers using source control system
• Write clean code to develop functional web applications
• Conduct design reviews to confirm that software architecture is sound
• Improve and document existing software and developments
• Compile and analyse data, processes, and codes to troubleshoot problems and identify areas for improvement
• Developing ideas for new programs, products, or features by monitoring industry developments and trends
• Work with business analysts to define software development lifecycle requirements
• Implement technical and design requirements as per the specifications
• Provide training and support to internal teams
• Liaise with developers, designers and system administrators to identify new features
• Follow emerging technologies

Requirements:

• Minimum 5 Years of relevant experience in development
• Thorough mastery of the fundamental web languages: HTML, PHP, Laravel, and JavaScript
• Solid experience working with PHP, the most recent Laravel version as well as other web frameworks
• Demonstrated proficiency in API service management (REST and SOAP), OOP (Object-oriented Programming), and MVC
• Proven familiarity with unit testing technologies such as PHPSpec, PHPUnit, and Behat is a nice to have
• Solid working understanding of database architecture and query optimization (MySQL, MS SQL, and PostgreSQL) and NoSQL (MongoDB and DynamoDB)
• Working knowledge of server technologies (Apache, Nginx, PHP-FPM) and cloud servers (Azure, AWS, Linode, Digital Ocean, Rackspace, etc.)
• Superior communication and problem-solving abilities
• Mandatory Skills: Laravel, React Js, MySQL, MS SQL, & PostgreSQL
• Fluency in both Mandarin6 and English
