Lemvigh-Muller is on the doorstep of starting a major Sitecore revamp and journey towards an omnichannel based business model which will be market-leading in Denmark. We are the biggest wholeseller of products for the construction business in Denmark and intend to grow even further. We have 20,000+ customers, all of which are business customers in the field of construction. Our company is 173 years old and has proud traditions for looking after our people. We are about 1,300 people in the company running 23 physical stores, 3 warehouses and 4 production facilities. Our annual turnover is EUR800 million. Our key IT components are SAP, Sitecore, Salesforce, IBM Watson and Stibo Step.

Over the next years, we will be investing heavily in our digital presence and digital transformation. Today, our digital turnover constitutes 40% of our revenue. We are interested in finding the right people to help us grow this number even further.

Responsibilities

As part of our initiatives in digital transformation, we are looking for a Mid-Level Frontend Developer who can create visually appealing and responsive web sites in the Vercel framework. As a member in our IT Development team, you will collaborate with SAP Commerce Cloud backend developers & QA, as well as the rest of the IT Department to develop our Digital Platform. SAP Commerce Cloud is our key strategic ecommerce platform for digital revenue streams.

The responsibilities of the team:

• To design and develop frontend components for responsive web applications and websites.
• To work with the new implementation partner in learning the new e-commerce platform and further develop it.
• To gather business requirements as needed
• To revamp the current web application using React JS
• To revamp on UX and improvement throughout
• To play an important role in our Agile IT department
• To work and collaborate with the backend developers to develop Sitecore solutions.

Qualifications

Must Have:

• Relevant years of experience in front-end development using HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript and jQuery
• Experience in JS frameworks such as React JS/ Angular / NextJS
• Experience with responsive design
• Knowledge in RESTful APIs (SPA)

Good to Have:

• Experience in integrating UI technologies.
• Experience with design / UX on a CMS platform
• Knowledge of Azure
• Knowledge of Umbraco
• Knowledge in .NET

Soft Skills:

• An agile mind set and knowledge of the agile processes (Scrum)
• Proficient in written and spoken English is a must.
• Strong communication skills are required to communicate with the team members, stakeholders, and end users.
• Ready to question and has a natural habit of sharing knowledge.
• A commitment to collaborative problem solving and product quality is essential.
• Be accustomed and comfortable working within a team-based, experimental agile environment that is centric to development.
• Ready for long term commitment
• Able and prepared to working hours maximizing the “communication window” with Denmark as there will be some time zone difference.
