Job Responsibilities
Responsible for preparation and timely submission of Bank Negara Malaysia (BNM) statistical reports via Statsmart and ESSDSS portal including Basel II & III, CashBOP and EAL.
Responsible for preparation and timely submission of regulatory reports to Securities Commission (SC) and Bursa Malaysia.
Deal with different stakeholders internally to obtain source data, clarify reporting requirements and disseminate any new requirements.
Assist the team in reviewing and providing inputs on any new reporting requirements from the regulators (e.g., BNM, SC and Bursa).
Assist in attending queries or surveys from regulators as and when is required.
Prepare and update the Standard Operation Procedure (SOP) of various regulatory reports.
Assist in compliance and/or audit review in preparing supporting documentations and timely response on the queries raised.
Participate in Finance Transformation activities including automation projects.
Job Requirements
Possesses Bachelor Degree in Accounting or Finance, any professional qualification with established professional accounting bodies or other equivalent.
Minimum 1-2 years of relevant financial/regulatory reporting experience, preferably in banking industry.
Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel and PowerPoint).
Good data analytical skills.
Team player, able to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
