Job Responsibilities

• Assist to manage the Operational Risk Management (ORM) framework, Reputation Risk framework, risk loss event management and reporting.
• Assist to conduct ORM training, BNM ORION related matters and operational risk stress testing.
• Keep abreast of developments in the operating environment and ensure that the Bank’s Operational Risk Management activities and tools remain current, which includes continuous enhancements to the Risk and Control Self-Assessment (RCSA), Self-Audit Checklist (SAC), Key Risk Indicators (KRIs), Loss Event Data (LED) collection and Scenario Analysis (SA).
• Coordinate with the Bank’s Special Project Unit on activities related to the Bank’s Business Continuity Management (BCM), which includes participation in activation of BCM, BCM testing and independent reviews on BCM documentation.
• Assist to identify, measure, monitor and control operational risks within the Bank and track operational risk levels and effectiveness of controls against risk thresholds.
• Conduct validation of control testing conducted by business units to ensure controls remain adequate and continue to mitigate the intended risks.

Job Requirements

• Possess Bachelor Degree in Economics, Business Administration or any equivalent.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in managing operational risk processes such as RCSA and SAC.
• Familiar with banking operations and regulatory expectations pertaining to operational requirements.
• Relevant industry certification(s) will be a plus.
• Good analytical, oratory and presentation skills.
• Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel & PowerPoint).
