Position Objective:

Manage the profitability and growth of the Institutional Dealing business, as key products and services in order to achieve AHIB Group’s long and short-term business objectives.

Key Responsibilities:

  • To facilitate and execute trades on behalf of clients with the use of trading platforms (TC PRO, FIS, ALGO’s) while providing them with market insights, research, and advice
  • Build and maintain relationships with institutional clients, such as asset managers
  • Fully understand the client’s investment objectives, risk tolerance, and trading strategies to offer tailored solutions
  • Provide market analysis and technical view and stay updated on market developments, economic news, and industry trends to provide clients with market analysis, research reports, and trading ideas
  • Able to analyze market data, track price movements, and assess the impact of global events on financial markets
  • Respond to client inquiries, address concerns, and offer recommendations based on market conditions
  • 8 Work closely with risk management teams to ensure compliance with internal policies and industry regulations
  • Collaborate with other internal departments such as research, trading, operations, and compliance to deliver comprehensive services to clients
  • Coordinate with trading desks to ensure smooth trade execution and resolve any operational or settlement issues
  • Actively seek opportunities to upsell or cross-sell financial products and services offered by the bank”

Minimum Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in finance or accounting from any recognized institution
  • Knowledge and familiarization with the investment and financial services industry (both domestic and international) would be an added advantage
  • 5 years experience in Research or Equity sales
  • Strong analytical skills
  • Good written and verbal communication skills
