Description

• Involve in layout preparation and review with tool makers as well as customer.
• Prepare review check list and update for every revision.
• Assist tool makers on tool testing and fine-tuning to ensure tool performance at optimum level.
• Design modification of existing tools.
• FAI Sample submission.
• Update drawings and all relevant documents according to our SOP.
• Prepare DFM check list and participate in DFM review meeting.
• Evaluate quality of the tool & impact of design changes on tool.
• Tool repair, maintenance, modification, and trouble shooting.
• Co-ordinate production tool repair and maintenance section.
• To supervise and guide Tooling makers, Tool repairers and technicians.
• Assist production dept on delivery commitments and ensure technical supports.
• Evaluate tooling performance and lead constant improvement program.
• Follow up and ensure all tool are repaired on schedule according to ESR.
• Co-ordinate to Buy-off New and Transfer tools.
• Update PM record and ensure preventive maintenance carried out on schedule.
• Follow up with machining section for all job requests from Repair section.
• Documentation of Tooling history and technicians daily activities.
• Evaluate and perform constant tooling Improvements.
