Job Description

This role is responsible for the Software Asset Management (SAM) SaaS solution. The role will lead the technology that supports our SAM practices and will be accountable for the health of the environment. The incumbent will master the capabilities of the system and will configure the tool to support business requirements. Additionally, the Enterprise Solution Specialist will work with teams (internal and external) to productionize integrations with other technologies that ensure efficiencies and maximum usage.

Additional Job Description

Responsible for the technical management of a new Software Asset Management capability: 

• Integration of the SAM solution, with ServiceNow, and other 3rd party integrations/connectors, to enable software licensing lifecycle management from procurement to retirement of software. 
• Participate in work sessions and apply professional experience and analytical skills to define recommendations and improve overall processes for Software Asset Management, CMDB, Service now, SCCM, and discovery tools. 
• Lead/Support in the analysis of more complex requirements to translate into SAM TOOL and/or ServiceNow application configuration capability. 
• Experience with software management monitoring and management options (metering, deployment, removal, etc.) for each operating system platform.  
• Create automated processes to facilitate software procurement/deployment. 
• Work closely with the IT service management team to optimize automated solutions for enhanced monitoring and deployment/removal of software assets as needed. 
• Partner with IT Security and GRC teams on software vulnerability assessment, remediation and removal of software risk. 
• Deploy, and configure selected Software Asset Management solution in the enterprise environment. 
• Experience designing and enabling complex workflows across multiple platforms 
• Maintain discretion and confidentiality in all areas pertaining to IT systems and other proprietary information. 
• Participate in the exchange of ideas within the department. Ask questions and encourage input from other team members. 
• Understand and embrace the business and IT strategic direction. 
• Provide regular updates to appropriate managers and conference with them on complex or unusual situations. 
• Demonstrate commitment to customer service: anticipate, meet, and exceed customer expectations, solve customer problems quickly and effectively, and make customer issues a priority. 
• Exchange knowledge and information with other Jabil facilities to ensure best practices are shared throughout the Jabil organization. 
• Ensure 100% adherence to all company, IT, and department policies, processes, and procedures. 
• May perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned.
