Job description

Computer Aided Designer (CAD) in 2D & 3D

• Be able to perform design works using AutoCAD 2D and 3D.
• Create conceptual layouts for project visualization in 2D & 3D.
• Convert 2D image sketch to 3D model.
• Aid with various drafting services in AutoCAD
• Create new and revise engineering drawings using AutoCAD 2D and 3D addressing the comments given by Clients
• Create and enter BOM tables on assembly drawings.
• Able to read P&ID would be an added advantage.

·        Prepare dimensional drawings, installation drawings and more complex drawings (plant engineering).

·        Revise and update existing drawings reflecting design changes to ensure on time submission of drawings of the project.

·        Revise and update drawings

·        Work with Mechanical, Piping, Electrical & Civil on drawings production which meets project requirements (bid, submittal, engineering & Construction phase) and Implement these requirements on drawings sent to client.

·        Serve as an information source on planning and design of equipment installations: equipment and plant engineering.

·        Maintain notes, design outline and other documentation (like drawings, bill of materials, list of design parameters, and /performance guarantees) for future reference.

·        Make data available to discipline engineers and project managers.

·        Establish filing guidelines for drawings to maintain up-to-date drawings in Public Folder for accessibility to all 

Requirements

·        Min. 2+ Years of Experience as CAD designer with knowledge in AUTOCAD 2D and 3D

·        Min. Diploma in CAD or Engineering or any professional courses with good skills in 2D and 3D modelling

·        Experience in other CAD software such as Navisworks, Solidworks would be an added advantage.
