Description Job Responsibilities: SBH Kibing Silicon Materials (M) Sdn. Bhd., is a company under Kibing Group, which is the leading glass manufacturers in China. Kibing Group was founded in 1988 and listed in Shanghai Stock Exchange in 2011. The company has more than 10,000 employees, 26 high-quality float glass production lines with daily melting capacity of 17,600 tons. In 2022, Kibing Group was invested RM2 billion for manufacturing downstream products of silica sand and photovoltaic glass in Sabah state. Thus, SBH Kibing Silicon Materials (M) Sdn. Bhd. was established and estimated created 300 jobs for the silica sand processing plant in Sikuati, Kudat, Sabah.
• Read through original material and rewrite it in the target language, ensuring that the meaning of the source text is retained
• Ensures high quality and relevancy of translations
• Proofread translated texts for grammar, spelling and punctuation accuracy
• Follow up with internal team members to ensure translation meets their needs
• Edit content with an eye toward maintaining its original format
• Be able to handle translations from English/Malay to Mandarin and vice versa
• To carry out any other duties as and when requested by Superior
REQUIREMENT :
• Preferable minimum 2 years of translation experience (English to Mandarin)
• Attention to detail combined with the ability to work quickly to meet deadlines
• Excellent Mandarin and English communication skills and command of grammar
• The ability to grasp new concepts quickly, eg technical terms
• Enjoy working in a fast paced environment
• Proficient in office software;
• Proactive, patient and meticulous, with teamwork spirit and have a strong work ability under pressure.
• Excellent Chinese listening, speaking, reading and writing skills
