JOB OVERVIEW

The main task of the interpreter is handling professional calls (e.g insurance, legal, utilities, etc.) on-demand and acting as a language mediator between English-speaking and Mandarin/Cantonese- speaking persons.

This role involves complex and technical subjects in Healthcare, Government, Insurance, Finance, Utilities, Travel and Hospitality, 911 emergency services, Law Enforcement, Courts, and General Business.

‍‍‍RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Convey proper and accurate meaning from the source with proper clarity, tone, syntax, and grammar for both English and Mandarin/ Cantonese.
  • Interpret with the highest degree of accuracy and completeness in consecutive, simultaneous, and sight translation modes.

REQUIREMENTS

  • Highly proficient in both English & Mandarin/ Cantonese
  • Permanent night shift (Working hours according to Pacific Time Zone)
  • Residents of Malaysia/ Indonesia/ Philippines/ Vietnam/ Cambodia (local & foreign)
  • Rotational shift basis
  • Working schedule: 5 days/week on a rotational shift basis
