Description

General Description & Scope:
a) MAINTENANCE & SERVICES TECHNICIAN is responsible for the services of the facilities operations and maintenance program within the Company; working together with the Facilities and Services Administrator as well as planning and coordinating contracted services engaged for overall maintenance of the building and the Company’s Fleet of vehicles.
b) The personnel’s primary duty is to ensure perform daily and periodic work associated with building maintenance and facility services, such as overseeing the support operations of an organization and day-to-day operations relating to Maintenance and Services.
c) Overall the Maintenance Technician is responsible for keeping the building/premise and the vehicles in proper working condition.

BUILDING & FACILITIES Job Functions:
a) Responsible for the completion of all scheduled and ad-hoc maintenance & services.
b) Ensuring the upkeep and maintenance of the premise’s facilities are in good working condition, in compliance with ISO 27001 & safety and health standards.
c) Promptly reporting and attending to repairs of faulty amenities, such as electrical, plumbing and other general facilities.
d) To perform preventive maintenance, service and repairs.
e) To conduct service & safety checks and repair works in a timely manner in accordance with safety guidelines.
f) Replaces light bulbs, resets breakers, replaces broken outlet covers, etc.
g) Makes minor repairs on toilets and faucets, such as tightening or replacing toilet seats, replacing faucet seals.
h) Adjusts doors for proper opening and closing.
i) Required to assist with reassembly and setting up furniture and shelving’s in new locations.
j) Able to carry out minor plumbing works.
k) Having basic knowledge of servicing and maintenance of Air Conditioning would be an advantage.

VEHICLES MAINTENANCE Job Functions:
a) Arrange for timely servicing and maintenance of vehicles.
b) Responsible for the completion of all scheduled/ requested/ ad-hoc maintenance & services.
c) Keeping and accurate records of maintenance & servicing schedules for Company vehicles.
d) Assisting with vehicle inspection at JPJ, Puspakom, Balai Polis, Insurance Workshops etc.
e) Arranging and assisting with insurance claims and repairs after accident.

OTHERS:
a) Business Licenses – application submission and renewals relating to licenses.
b) Arranging and assisting with supply and distribution of Company uniform.
c) And to perform any other task and works as assigned on the Company’s instructions from time to time.

QUALIFICATIONS & REQUIREMENTS:
1. Basic Qualification: Certification / Diploma in relevant area
2. To ensure in possession of valid driving license for motorcycle and car.
3. Initiative and co-operation, willing to assist.
4. To be punctual for work.
5. To ensure task assigned to be completed efficiently.
6. To be willing to work on Saturday, Sunday or Public Holidays as and when required only.
7. To be properly and neatly attired at all times.
