The position is responsible to ensure the equitable fulfilment of our insurance obligation when a loss is notified by the Insured. There should be efficient and prompt claims service. Good claim practice should be maintained at all times with full compliance of BNM Guidelines and Chubb. Insurance’s policy on claims.

Major duties and responsibilities

• Process A&H Claims specialized in Travel, Complex Claims.
• All claims are appropriately handled, documented, evaluated and investigated within the Guidelines of the Authority /Chubb Insurance.
• Review/follow up on all outstanding claims on regular basis to ensure claims reserve are adequate and status updated. Maintain a low pending ratio of outstanding claims (prompt disposal of claims to reduce number of outstanding claims). Keep ratio of outstanding claims at healthy level.
• Identify potential for fraudulent/recovery in claims
• Monthly/Quarterly/Yearly review of Aging files.
• To meet deadline in submission of assignments, monthly claims status reports and any other ad hoc reports as and when required
• To provide fast, efficient and courteous claims service to all customers within the Chubb Best Claims Practices and standards established by the HOD
• To ensure proper complaint handling, including prompt escalations, acknowledgements and timely updates to clients, brokers and agents
• To provide support, input and conduct systems testing when required
• Any other duties as assigned

• A&H Claim Skillset

Experience

• Preferably with at least 2 years’ experience in handling Complex Travel Claims

•  Diploma, Advanced/Higher/Graduate Diploma, Bachelor’s Degree, Post Graduate Diploma, Professional Degree
