Key Responsibilities:

1. Responsible in driving the development of the business development department which comprises of but not limited to the following business segment:

a) General practitioners’ segment

b) Corporate Client segment

c) Events segment

d) Public relations

e) Corporate communications

f) International market segment,

g) Digital marketing

h) Social media

i) Other new segments that may come under the direct supervision of the same department.

2. Participate & support the BD department to formulate strategies of branding, market positioning, target clients, target market as well as sales and marketing activities of the company.

3. Participate & support the BD department to achieve the budgeted revenue target through proper planning, diligent execution and close monitoring of all sales and marketing programs and activities in the domestic and international market segment.

4. Participate & support the BD department to plan & deliver annual calendar of events for advertisement, promotional activities, exhibitions, events, community outreach programmes, health education talks and other community programs that may benefit business development growth of the company, within the approved budget. Monitor & follow up after such events to ensure the targeted objectives of respective events are being fulfilled.

5. Continuously explore, source and reach out to potential business allies and new potential business opportunities.

6. Develop, coordinate & monitor all marketing materials required by the company. Ensure the content of all marketing materials in the company are correct, accurate & up to date.

7. Ensure all marketing materials, either print or electronic, external or internal use, complies to the guidelines issued by the Kementerian Kesihatan Lembaga Iklan Ubat (KKLIU) or the Medicine Advertisement Board of the Ministry of Health Malaysia.

8. Diligently promote the company’s brand name, products and services internally and externally.

9. Provide full support to customers whenever necessary regarding company’s products and services.

10. To take up any ad-hoc tasks that may be assigned by the supervisor or management.
