We are looking for an Associate Plant Controller to for a MNC Manufacturing company in Kulim/ Penang

This multinational, high-end manufacturer is famous for its aspirational and exceptional products. Its office in Kulim /Penang offers a word-class working environment with hybrid working flexibility. Due to market growth, a permanent Associate Plant Controller is needed to join the team.

Your new role

Reporting to the Plant Controller you’ll be responsible for

• Well experienced in plant controlling – working capital, margin, cost, production order variance, under/over absorption, utilization,
• Good process improvement experience – implement improvement or corrective plans of action, and monitors further development.
• Involve in yearly financial planning, quarterly forecast, and calculation of hourly rates, ensuring financial goals are aligned with operational objectives.
• Manage fixed asset, including conducting solid financial analysis for investments
• Ensure compliance with all financial, accounting, and internal policies and procedures.
• Assists in all plant internal and external audits.

This is an all-round position with a focus on plant controlling. You’ll be working as a solo contributor handling FP&A and Costing.

This person will be involved in the setup of a new plant in Kulim, Kedah. This role will be temporarily seated in the Penang Plant.

What you’ll need to succeed

• Min. Bachelor’s degree in accounting. Professional Qualifications preferred.
• Minimum of 8 years of experience in plant controlling/ FP&A , preferable in manufacturing environment.
• Strong financial analysis and attention to detail.
• Good command of English language
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with all levels of the organization.
• Knowledge of SAP or integrated manufacturing systems and advance Microsoft Excel
