Initial Key Responsibilities
This is a newly created position to help set up Asia share services to support Singapore for our South East Asia operation.
Candidate have to fulfill the criteria of willing to travel to newly set up plant in Philippine and some other SEA plant.
Candidate is expected to start work in October 2023.
Job Responsibilities
Supervise and lead a team in updating Singapore AP/AR transactions and GST reporting.
Able to support on new startup company registration and tax incentive applications as and when required.
Organize and lead team in implementation of new SAP Accounting System and in charge of the system setup & SAP training for the local team.
Oversees and supervise the monthly financial reporting for Asia subsidiary.
Ensure tax compliance for VAT, Corporate income tax and withholding taxes for Asia subsidiaries.
Monthly review of financial reports and liaise with cost accounting for new products and regular price reviews.
Support Singapore on Asia transfer pricing documentations per local regulations.
Liaise with auditor & tax agent on subsidiary audit / tax matters and including tax planning to maximize tax savings.
Responsible for developing the local accounting staff in subsidiaries and work on continuous improvements.

Job Requirements
Min Accounting Degree or equivalent preferred.
Qualified CPA.
Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in manufacturing and system implementation experience will be an added advantage
An excellent team player who demonstrates good thinking & communication skills along with influencing and negotiating skills.
Able to lead & manage people well and has good initiatives, independent and self-motivated. Possess good analytical & problem solving skills
Must willing to travel to Asia frequently on regular basis.
