The Role

As part of the SAP Applications team, you will be responsible for the design, development, testing, implementation and support for ABAP, SAP Scripts & SmartForms to meet our business needs. You will be working closely with the SAP Business Analysts and end users to deliver, maintain, troubleshoot and enhance SAP functionality. Besides dealing with the challenges that come along with this portfolio, you will also experience and contribute to our dynamic working culture. Your responsibilities will require you to communicate extensively with various stakeholders from both internally within the Company or group of companies and externally with our business partners.

Below is a synopsis of your job function:

• Performs SAP ABAP / SAP Scripts / SmartForms development and customization for projects and ad-hoc requirements;
• Analyze user requirements to determine SAP configuration and/or customization required;
• Build application pages, queries, programs, and reports to support business needs;
• Coordinate with SAP team leaders and/or other internal end users to define their requirements,
• Analysing business needs and validating solutions with stakeholders, translating them into configuration and/or customisation.
• Performing feasibility studies for new IT solutions with regards to current and future business requirements.

Requirements: 

Background:

• Master or Bachelor degree in Computer Science / IT from recognised university or
• Computer Science Diploma with minimal 3 years working knowledge on SAP ABAP / SAP Scripts / Smarforms.

Experience:

• Minimum 2 – 4 years of working experience in SAP ABAP / SAP Scripts / SmartForms.
• Familiar with SAP functional modules: FI, CO, MM, PP & SD.

Knowledge & Skill:

• Hands on knowledge in BAPI, SAP Scripts, SmartForms, & Data Conversions.
• Good working knowledge in SAP functional modules.
• Good understanding of SAP configuration on SAP functional modules
• Excellent time management and organisation skills, meticulous and delivers quality work.

Personal trait:

• Able to work well under pressure to meet tight deadlines and handling multiple tasks.
• Enjoys working in a fast-paced, challenging yet fun environment.
• A highly motivated individual who is willing to take initiatives and follow up with details.
• A good team player and communicator.
• Good written and spoken English. Ability in spoken Bahasa Malaysia and other local dialects is an added advantage.
• Good presentation skills and able to communicate with all levels.
