Job summary:

To support our extraordinary teams who build great products and contribute to our growth, we’re looking to add a Debug Engineer located in Bukit Minyak, Penang.

Reporting to the Manager, the Debug Engineer will be analyzing and interprets test data and product performance and prepares technical advice for repair.

What a typical day looks like:

• Understands conditions under which tests are to be conducted and sequences and phases of test operations.
• Uses computer software and hardware to conduct tests on electronic products and systems or software for analysis purpose.
• Allocates defect causes to the various sources e.g. process, material, and prepares reports for follow other involved like quality, purchasing, SQA.
• Interferes with floor support, Debug technicians and test engineer problem solving techniques on product failures or High failure in manufacturing.
• Resolves high test yield problems/product issues timely feedback with performing analysis of root causes, developing and coordinating corrective action measures and monitoring improvements working with Test / Quality team.
• Resolves failures from Point of origin / point of detection with fast feedback to main line.
• Analyzes and interprets test data and product performance with proper evidence of design related Failure analyze Report if any.
• Clear Failure analysis Technique related to component/PCBA with proper root causing

The experience we’re looking to add to our team-Debug Engineer

• Typically requires a Bachelor’s degree in Electrical / Electronic related field or equivalent experience
• Typically requires 3 years of related experience
• Using tools like TDR Oscilloscope analysis / network analyzer / Test instrument / Curve Tracer
or any tools used to solve failure product analysis or solutions provider.
• Fresh graduate are welcome to apply with Strong Electronics understanding back ground
