Do you have a way with words or the ability to persuade? Do you like the challenge of thinking outside of the box? We’re looking for a wordsmith who’s game to think creatively and strategically for brand and marketing campaigns. 

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Write, edit, and oversee copy production for marketing collaterals across the airasia group like edms, push notifications, taglines, radio & video scripts.
• Supervise radio/voice recordings and attend production shoots.
• Collaborate with branding, creative, marketing, and other departments. 
• Actively contribute to creative brainstorming and conceptualising of marketing campaigns
• Develop engaging creative copy direction for marketing campaigns
• Collaborate with other departments to determine consistency in copy tone and style, ensuring that it complements accompanying artwork. 
• Work together with art directors to develop engaging and inspiring creatives.
• Maintain high standards of copywriting and exercise quality control across all deliverables.
• Study industry-wide trends to create engaging and culturally relevant copy that inspires and sells.
• Manage and guide junior copywriters with crafting and ideation.

REQUIREMENTS

• Diploma/Degree in Advertising, Mass Communications, Media, Journalism, or English. 
• Minimum 5 years experience in the advertising industry or similar field.
• Good understanding in basic design, social media platforms, web design and development, scriptwriting, and digital marketing.
• Language Skills: Highly proficient in English.
• Ability to meet deadlines and adapt quickly to changes.
• Ability to work and collaborate with others.
• Team management experience.
• Meticulous and self-driven.
• Soft-skills are a plus.
