Kineflux is revolutionizing the automotive fuel economy by developing the most eco-friendly fuel saver add-on to medium and heavy duty vehicles. This transitional technology leading to solutions for a low-carbon future and help reduce carbonize sectors like heavy duty vehicle in long distance transport industry. In this position, you would become part of a dynamic team that focuses on the series development support of fuel management to global markets primarily the North America, East Asia, South East Asia and Europe. 

Responsibilities:

• Building prototypes of components to carry out tests on and finalize the design of the company flagship product.
• Plan and conduct testing in the areas of combustion, emissions control, OBD and fuel economy.
• Interpreting and analyzing results and data.
• Sourcing product components and selecting the best materials to use; liaising with suppliers and recommend the best solution.
• Execute proof-of-concept design, prototyping, performance validation.
• Using specialist computer modelling software to produce designs.
• Making improvements to product in response to customer feedback.
• Investigating and solving problems in relating the product and customer’s vehicles.
• Working closely with project team (automotive technicians).
• Writing reports and documentation.

Key Skills:

• Efficient in SolidWorks; able to design assemblies in 2D & 3D to aid in drawing sketches and product dimensions.
• Have a strong understanding of vehicle diagnostics protocols such as J1708.
• Familiar with diesel & Petrolane powertrain control systems.
• Able to utilize Finite Element Analysis (FEA) and Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD) is a must for product design validation.
• Knowledge in Microsoft Office.
• Effective technical and problem-solving skills.

• Interpersonal and communication skills.

• Able to work as part of a team.
• Reporting to CTO and dotted to CEO.

Qualifications:

• Bachelors of Mechanical Engineering with major in Automotive Engineering.
• At least 5 to 7 years in automotive related industry.
• Experience with medium and heavy-duty diesel powertrain in the areas of combustion, emissions control, OBD and ECU fuel economy management system.
• Good knowledge in thermodynamics is an added advantage.
