Job Overview

Responsible for activities carried out before a customer is acquired. Presales Consultants work closely with sales, service, engineering, and technical support resources to ensure proposed deals include technical solutions that address customer needs

Responsibilities

  • Actively involve mainly in Presales (and some Post sales activities).
  • To attend meetings with potential Clients to determine technical and business requirements and ensure all necessary information is gathered.
  • Support and assist to prepare and submit tenders and RFQs.
  • To structure and produce technical proposals according to tender specifications.
  • Provide technical consulting, architecting, solutioning & support in a professional manner.
  • Able to provide presentation, product/solution demonstration and conduct Proof of Concept.
  • Create design documentation with technical explanations (proposal, diagram, BOM, timeline, etc.).
  • Interface with the implementation / project team, articulating customer requirement, to ensure smooth transition from Sale to Delivery

Requirements

  • 3 years of working experience as Presales Consultant, which includes executing the tendering process.
  • Must have experience with Government and private sector tenders, e-tendering and bidding for both online and offline tender submission channels.
  • Good presentation and writing skills.
  • Candidate must possess at least Bachelor’s Degree/Post Graduate Diploma/Professional Degree in Computer Science/Information Technology or equivalent.
  • Able to work in team / as a team.

Must Have:

  • Tender/RFP/RFQ submission experience
  • Experience in structuring and producing technical proposals
  • Experience in presentation, product/solution demonstration, and conduct Proof of Concept
  • Create design documentation with technical explanations (proposal, diagram, BOM, timeline, etc.).
