MANAGER (SECURITY & SAFETY)

The candidate’s role is to act as Manager – Security & Safety for the maintenance of security and safety of a corporate office building. To upgrade existing security systems and procedures as dictated by the changing situations and threat scenarios and to establish and implement new and effective security measures.

Scope and areas of work expertise required of:

• The ability to manage and lead the entire Security and Safety Department comprising of in-house and outsourced guards.
• Ability to manage physical and electronic security measures effectively and efficiently.
• Competent in conducting security reviews and assessments, and providing new security measures.
• Able to advise the company and management on security and safety-related matters.
• Ability in planning, problem-solving, decision making and counselling.
• Conduct successful yearly Emergency Evacuation cum Fire Drill.
• Establish and maintain close working relationships with government authorities and agencies, security firms and providers.

Qualifications & Knowledge Requirement:

• At least 10 years of working experience in the Police / Armed Forces/ Corporate Security
• Holds the rank at least of an ‘Assistant Superintendent of Police (ASP) while in the RMP.
• Possess at least a university degree.
• Had undergone various related security-related courses, programmes and training including exposures in corporate security & safety roles.
• Advantageous to those with experience in building management and security systems.
• Have a positive and open mindset when dealing with security issues and be able to provide solutions.
• Ability to take on a leadership role.
