KETERANGAN JAWATAN KOSONG
Designing, implementing, and maintaining Linux-based systems and infrastructure to ensure operational reliability and protected from cyber threats and vulnerabilities
Managing and troubleshooting Linux servers across physical and virtual environments, ensuring their availability, security, and optimal performance
Involves working with a cross-functional product team from around the world to ensure the reliability of compute hosting and platform.
To play an active part in expanding the open-source community and tools inside the company.
Part of an Agile dev team, you are expected to learn from the SMEs and upskill on other areas such as Backup, Storage, Virtualization, and Windows.
Collaborate with application developers, business customers, project managers, and other infrastructure teams.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate Linux systems with other technologies and applications
Instill Infrastructure as Code mindset while developing, deploying, and improving automation scripts and tools to streamline system administration tasks
Embrace Agile methodologies to quickly adapt to changes in requirements to meet business objectives
Required Skillsets :
Bachelor’s degree in computer science or a related field with min 2 years working experience with Red Hat Enterprise Linux
Demonstrable experience in installing, configuring, monitoring, and maintaining:
Linux distributions / Network protocols/ SAN and NFS storage
Shell scripting (Bash) or code development using various languages (Python, JSON, Ruby, etc.)
IT Service Management and processes (change, incident, and problem management)
Working knowledge of software development tools & practices including:
Experience working in a distributed team and collaborating with team members across various experiences, and technical expertise
Excellent communication skills. Able to speak, read, and write English fluently
Familiarity with open-source development, projects, and processes is a plus
Oncall Requirement: Yes (12 hours, daytime, including weekends)
Open for Malaysians and Expats based in Malaysia
Contract for 12 months renewable based on performance
