The Cluster Finance Manager plays an essential role in overseeing and managing all accounting, financial and administrative functions for 2 business entities in Malaysia and 1 business entity in Singapore. You will ensure that all entities fulfil their respective obligations in relation to financial governance as required under the law of Malaysia / Singapore and that the financial management is compliant with the local accounting standards.

Job Responsibilties:

1. Plan, direct and coordinate accounting activities including but not limited to credit management, accounts payable and receivable, payroll, tax, statutory and other reporting, budgeting and cash flow management.
2. Produce month-end and year-end reports, balance sheet, profit and loss reports, and other financial reports related to budgets, account payables and account receivables.
3. Oversee and manage bank finance, customer credit / collection function of Malaysia and Singapore’s business.
4. Liaise with auditors and any other parties to coordinate financial, tax and other licensing/business audits. 
5. Perform corporate reporting to local and international management and stakeholders.
6. Ensure that the accounting systems and procedures provide appropriate accounting controls and data integrity.
7. Work closely with the management and stakeholders to develop forecast and budget.
8. Develop cash flow plans which align with future financial trends and strategies to minimise financial risks.
9. Develop costing for products and projects in lighting and solar energy (EPC).
10. Provide direction, supervision and support to subordinates by establishing appropriate procedures to measure and monitor the work and performance for each team member.
11. Take a leading role in financial management of the business, providing advice and consultation to other managers regarding the effective and profitable management of the business.
12. Develop recommendations for company policies and procedures, implement and monitor to ensure compliance, and ensure that risk assessment and minimalization controls are in place.
13. Oversee the administrative support services (including staff claims, indirect purchases and other HR matters) to various departments, functions and all entities.

Job Requirements:

• Proven experience in accounting and finance or other relevant roles, particularly in Malaysia and Singapore. Experience in renewable energy markets and credit programmes is a plus.
• Qualified accountant (CPA) with a degree in Accountancy or Finance
• Familiar with Malaysia and Singapore’s Tax and Finance, as well as other related legislation
• Experience with foreign currency and company management
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to develop good working relationships. Able to work and interact with senior executives at group level.
• Strong commercial and operational business awareness and understanding
• Strong analytical skills with a keen eye for detail and the desire to probe further into data
• Good organisational and time management skills
• Able to work independently and in a team with a high degree of initiative
• Experience with ERP systems (AUTOCOUNT & ERP Oracle Netsuite preferred)
