We are looking for an Assistant Finance Manager to responsible for the Group of Companies’ compliance accounting & reporting. The Asst Finance Manager shall report to Finance Manager and Head of Finance.

Job Responsibilities;

  1. Management of overall accounting tasks including preparation of monthly management accounts and related detailed listings, budget, cash flow, forecast and estimates to be submitted within the deadlines set.
  2. Assist in finalisation of consolidated account by 20th of the following month.
  3. Perform reconciliation between Management Account and Management Report within the deadlines set.
  4. Manage all account related activities for the company including processing of invoices, delivery orders, invoicing, collection and billing, bank account management and debtors’ aging accounts to ensure these tasks are done accurately on a timely basis.
  5. Liaising with external auditors, tax agents, company secretary and other professional bodies to ensure compliance on all matters relating to audit, tax and statutory requirements.
  6. Monitoring of Standard Operating Procedure adherence by all Business Units pertaining to physical control over stationery, fixed assets, inventory etc.
  7. Ensure foreign currency transactions are recorded accurately and on a timely manner.
  8. Coordinating and providing guidance on related financial aspects to Heads of Departments and their business admin/business support team (travelling to Branches is required).
  9. Providing continuous training and briefing to subordinates and other business support staff to ensure accounting records are updated in an accurate manner.
  10. Review approval of payment transaction within the set limit of authorization.
  11. Review of work performed by subordinates and provide guidance as and when needed.
  12. Manage ISO audit on financial related matters (applicable to Plant only).
  13. All other ad-hoc duties assigned by the supervisor or management.


  1. Professional Accountancy Qualification is required (ACCA, ICAEW, CPA or its equivalent from a recognised institution).
  2. Minimum 3 to 4 years working experiences in a managerial position within the accounts department in a related field.
  3. Able to work independently with minimal supervision.
  4. Strong sense of responsibility and urgency.
  5. Strong interpersonal and stakeholder management skills.
  6. Good knowledge of MS Office, advanced knowledge of excel preferable.
  7. Mature and possess excellent communication, leadership and organizational skills.
