Job Description

What does a great Tourism Executive / Assistance do?

• Execution the objectives of the Department unit of a company
• Facilitating the achievement of the objectives
• Implementation of the plan together with team member
• Manage all assignments and has overall daily operations
• Identify & develop new business opportunities
• Develop strong good customers and suppliers business relationships
• Manage all aspects of travel operations and administration work; such as Reservations, Tour Packaging, Ticketing, Travel Coordination, Customer Support and Invoicing Tasks including timeliness in issuances of invoices

Job Requirements

Experience and Capabilities:

• Candidate must possess at least a SPM, STPM, ‘A’ Level, Pre-U, Diploma, Degree or higher in the general field of Business, Management, Tourism and Hospitality or Equivalent, Fresh graduate are encouraged to apply
• Minimum Two (02) years of working experience in travel and tour related industry
• Well versed in various areas of travel (domestic/international, business/holidays, group/individual etc)
• Remarkable ability to work under pressure, tight deadline, flexible hours during peak season and meet KPIs
• Computer literate in MS Office applications
• Proficient in both written and spoken English and Mandarin is a MUST. As the role requires
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills. Ability to present, persuade and communicate effectively
• Willing to attend to customer enquiries & tour support via phone after hours, during weekend or public holidays (emergency services when necessary)
• Advantage: Good geographical knowledge of Asian and Western countries and their tourist attractions and culture
• Advantage: Good knowledge of traveling software (Computer Reservations Systems, GDS systems, travelport and E-Travel)
• Advantage: Ability to handle difficult customers and situations
• Advantage: Exemplary sales skills and customer oriented approach
• Advantage: Flexibility and attentiveness would be essential for this role
• Advantage: Good follow up skill and highly attentive to enquiry
