SOFTWARE ENGINEER (EQUIPMENT PC PROGRAMMING)

(Location: Bayan Baru Penang, Malaysia)

Responsibilities:

• Software Design, Development and Maintenance (Equipment PC-based Programming)

• System Implementation, Testing, Debugging and Documentation

• Analyze existing software and identify areas for modification and improvement

• Troubleshooting at customer’s site

Requirements:

• Degree in relevant discipline with preferably more than 5 years of experience in software development in the automation industry

• Strong in equipment PC-based programming skills

• Experience in motion control and process control

• Experience in Vision System software development is an advantage

• Knowledge in SECS/GEM standards and implementation is preferred

• Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills

• Good command of written and spoken English

• Responsible, hardworking and committed

• Able to work under tight schedules

• Able to work after office hours when required

• Able to travel within short notice when required

AUTOMATION SOFTWARE ENGINEER – PLC PROGRAMMING

(Location:Bayan Baru Penang, Malaysia)

Responsibilities:

• Design, development and implementation of PLC and/or PC based software solutions

• Perform system integration, testing and commissioning of advanced control systems for equipment automation system.

• Participate in control system requirement analysis.

• Involved in drafting of functional specifications and detailed design specification.

• Provide technical onsite support to external and internal customers.

• Interpret client requirements, identify design parameters, and ensure solutions are implemented accurately and within budget to meet project requirements and schedules

• Ensure software issues are resolved in a timely manner

Job Requirement:

• Diploma / Bachelor degree in Automation/Electronics/Computer Engineering.

• Minimum 2 years of relevant experience in automation/semiconductor industry

• Experience in process control and motion control

• Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills

• Dynamic team player with interpersonal skills.

• Articulate in communication (English) and has good writing skills.

• Able to work under tight schedules

• Willing to travel and work on overseas projects.

• Basic salary commensurate with experience
